Kid-friendly, freezer-friendly and easy to scale up for the whole family.
A smooth tomato pasta sauce with four hidden vegetables — made in the Thermomix in 20 minutes. The perfect trick for picky eaters.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- Basil
- Pasta of choice
Method
- Chop vegetables for 6 seconds / speed 5.
- Saute with a little oil for 5 minutes / 120 C / speed 1.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes / 100 C / speed 1.
- Add cream cheese and basil, then blend for 30 seconds / speed 8.
- Mix with pasta and serve with parmesan if liked.
Kitchen note: This sauce freezes well in small portions.
